Kevin Demuynck – 3D Art Director | Creature & Character Artist
I'm a 3D artist and art director with a focus on creatures and characters for video games. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the chance to work on a variety of AAA titles while at Volta Studio, including Devil May Cry 5 (Creatures Highpoly and Main characters Transformation, Back 4 Blood (skin main characters), New World (environment creatures), Skull and Bones (realistic heads pnj and players), Exoprimal (Dinosaurs highpoly), and Diablo (creatures).
More recently, I contributed as Art Director and 3D artist on Monster Hunter Wild, working on monsters like Nerscylla, Gravios, Yian Kut-Kurm Rompopolo and Ajaraken (Art direction, Highpoly, lowpoly, texturing). I’m passionate about bringing characters and creatures to life and enjoy collaborating with talented teams to help shape compelling game worlds.
I’m a 3D Art Director at Volta Studio, an outsourcing company where I’ve had the opportunity to work on multiple AAA projects simultaneously. This dynamic environment requires a high level of versatility and the ability to adapt to a wide range of visual styles.
My main focus is on realistic creature and character production. While I lead teams and oversee creative direction, I also stay hands-on—especially when it comes to technically or artistically challenging tasks, where I like to contribute directly to the production.
I have a solid understanding of the full character art pipeline for video games, from concept to final in-game asset. Over the past decade, I’ve contributed to titles such as Monster Hunter Wild (Nerscylla, Gravios, Yian Kut-Ku), Devil May Cry 5, Back 4 Blood, New World, Skull and Bones, Exoprimal, Diablo, and more. I also took on the role of Art Director for projects like Rompopolo and Ajaraken.
I’m passionate about creating believable and engaging characters, and I enjoy collaborating with talented teams to bring them to life.
